Canyon City Barbeque

Unbelievably good food. Good small selection of beers... my kid said best lemonade he's ever had. The brownie was Unbelievable as well!

I have passed by this place for 20 years, always meaning to stop. We'll, I finally did and OMG! I have been missing out on some EXCELLENT food! Can't wait to go back and a big reccomend and I did a video on my Culinaryadventureclubusa IG page. Do yourself a favor and stop, don't just drive by. As a matter of fact, make it a destination, you won't be disappointed (unless your vegan or something then you may be, but the coleslaw was stellar too!) OH and do yourself a favor and get the brisket gravy over rice!

I ordered the beef ribs the Mac and cheese and brisket beans and a berry pie slice it was all good no complaints or sad faces the ribs had there smoked touch the Mac was good and the beans were good the berry pie was good but I should have got the apple pie instead no big deal overall the ribs were good finished them all 40$ well spent my taste buds are happy no photos I got home and started eating my plate was served well also had a very great experience I wish this single guy had a wife that could cook some bbq for me made with love taste so much better

Been coming here for over 10 years. The Service has always been exceptionally welcoming. The food in my opinion is actually the best and most authentic BBQ in all of LA County. Thank you Canyon city family for always providing an excellent experience.

Amazing service, BBQ and brownies... Had the brisket plate and wife ordered the loaded spud. 5/5. 08/31/25: update. Still 5/5. Highly recommend.

I’ve been to this place a few times but never wrote the review for it. First of all, in this area, this is the best bbq spot. With that being said, the customer service upon entering the restaurant was sketchy at first but it got better as I stayed to order my food. I had to drive here to order because the phone never got answered nor did the online service work. I got the chicken sandwich, 1/2 chicken, fries, mac & cheese, and Cole slaw. The sandwich was good, the chicken was okay and the sides were decent. You can dine in if you want but at the time I went, they were really busy so the wait from what I seen was about 15 to 20 minutes. I don’t think they take reservations. I would say to go and visit the place for yourself. It is worth the drive if you’re in the area. I would not say drive from LA to come here when there are other spots along the way.

Hit up Canyon City BBQ for lunch based on it’s strong positive reviews. The staff were all professional and good at communicating with customers. We were seated quickly. The wait staff were quick to take the order and shortly thereafter the food began to arrive. There was a variety of sauces available to enhance the flavors of the order. All items ordered were flavorful and delicious. If you like BBQ, the Canyon City BBQ is worth the visit.

Best barbecue I've had in about 8 months. best barbecue I have had down in Southern California in a long time brisket fork tender.
